Lauren Akers of L & L Eventing has been based out of Steppin' Up Farm since January 2020 and we are delighted that our new location has a second house on the property so Lauren can actually live here too!
Lauren has previously trained under Sinead Halpin, member of the US Equestrian Team and CCI5* rider as well as Tik Maynard, Canadian Equestrian Team rider and author of “In the Middle are the Horsemen” who specializes in horse psychology and performance. Lauren has competed through USEA Preliminary eventing and creates a unique program for each horse and riders’ needs, including starting young horses, helping problem horses, and building confidence in horse and rider while maintaining a relaxed environment.
